Yes, thank you, Nadia! Report cards did come home today. Please make sure that you keep the report card but sign and return the cover tomorrow. Also, there will not be a spelling test tomorrow. We will take it, probably, Tuesday of next week! Math homework over telling time was sent home tonight as well. Make sure you are reading every night!

Please make sure to look at your child’s folder this afternoon. Many things are coming home that need to be seen. Picture day is tomorrow. The order form is in your child’s folder. Also, there is a note about our upcoming mid-unit PBL project that you can help us out with. Please make sure to look over that and send any materials you have at your house. We learned more and more about Recycling!! And this week we went over Fractions. Next week we will go to the Land fill!!!!! 🙂 This week we are talking about Loyalty. Today we practiced on bar graphs, pictographs, and tally charts.We learned more about recycling and the three Rs – Reuse, Reduce,and Recycle. We did lots of fun things today and this week!! 🙂 Read tonight to get a chance to win a bike sometime next week or on Friday 🙂

We have math homework tonight, and there is a spelling test tomorrow! Also, just so that you can go ahead and make plans – We will be going to school on Friday, April 3 – Good Friday – to make up for the snow day. However, that day will be an early release day. Our students will get out at 11:00. We will also have our Easter party that morning. I will be getting those details to you soon!

Today we learned about to Reuse,Reduce,Recycle.We got our Book orders today! And today we watched 3 videos about recycling and how people throw stuff out their cars and trash gets in water and makes the water sick. – Jenna

One more reminder – we will not be taking our trip to the land fill and recycle plant tomorrow. We hope to have that rescheduled for next week, but we have to wait to see what the weather will do for the next few days.

I hope you have a wonderful Spring Break with your family! The green note in your child’s folder is about building a leprechaun trap over Spring Break with your child. It is not required but something that the second grade teachers thought would be a fun activity for your family. We are looking forward to seeing them when we get back!

-Please take time to have your child read their reader’s theatre book one more time. I am so impressed at their expression and fluency work this week. They have done a great job!
-An orange note came home today about our upcoming PBL project over recycling. Please read over that note and send it back TOMORROW! We would like all of them back before leaving for spring break.
