Today in math we ordered numbers from least to greatest and greatest to least. The numbers were between 100-999. During our shared reading time we read Strega Nona by Tomie dePaola. We wrote what happened in the story on sentence strips and put them in order of the story.
We had fun in techonology and listened to Cade and Mrs. Elder read us a book.
Tomorrow is P.E.
Today in class we compared numbers to 999 during math time. We read My School is a Zoo and starting writing our own version of the story at Writer’s Workshop.

We played Three Little Wolves in PE. It was a lot of fun! During Writer’s Workshop we read a book called Courage and wrote about a time we had courage. We shared with the class. We are still finishing our Eric Carle paintings and stories.
Tomorrow is PE and Kindergarten Round-up. Morning Meeting will be in the Music room.
Today in Math we worked more with hundreds, tens, and ones. We played our online math game called Critter Junction. Today was our library day. We always enjoy library time with Mrs. Elder.
Tomorrow is PE. Don’t forget to wear tennis shoes.

Today we are waiting to hunt our Easter eggs! We have been working on a few things for the party today – placemats and our bunnies. We are very excited!
Tuesday we painted like Eric Carle. We will turn our paintings into an animal and put it with our animal stories.
We are excited about celebrating Easter with a three day weekend! No school tomorrow for Good Friday. Have a great weekend!
Today in math we worked with Hundreds, Tens, and Ones. We know that 4 Hundreds, 7 Tens, and 5 ones is 475. We also made bunny glyphs. A glyph is another way to show data using a picture.
Tomorrow is PE and a spelling test!

Hello! I thought I would take a minute to tell my class that they did a wonderful job in Welcome to the Jungle! If you didn’t see it, you really missed out on a wonderful show. I also want to thank Mrs. Kimbley for putting the show together for us. She is so talented and we are thankful for her.
